GLCS Fine Arts Foundation Scholarship

The GLCS Fine Arts Foundation is pleased to once again offer the GLCS Fine Arts Foundation Scholarship, to be awarded to a GLHS Graduating Senior who has taken at least four (4)  Fine Arts courses offered at GLHS and who intends to continue Fine Arts education in college.    

2024 Scholarship

To be eligible for the Scholarship, which is a one-time gift of $1,000, to be paid to the college or university, the student:

  • must have completed at least four (4) courses in the Fine Arts offered at GLHS; 

  • must have remained in good academic standing throughout high school; and 

  • must be continuing Fine Arts education in college, as a major or a minor.

Fill out the Scholarship Application, available by clicking the icon to the right, or by request GLCSFineArtsFoundation@gmail.com.

 

Applicants must also prepare a written essay describing the impact the Fine Arts have made in Applicant's life and the importance of Fine Arts education.

In addition to the essay, students are required to submit two letters of recommendation, at least one of which must be from a faculty member or community member relating to applicant’s relevant experience in the Fine Arts.

 

Applications must be submitted to the GLCS FAF via PO Box 611, Richland, MI 49083 or by email to GLCSFineArtsFoundation@gmail.com no later than Friday, February 23, 2024.  Please submit two copies of all documents.

 

Applicants will be notified no later than March 31, 2024.
